It certainly would be instructive to go over the "layout" of the game played in online roulette casinos, because that supplies the information for all the different kinds of wagers that are available.

A roulette table is laid out with three columns of twelve numbers. They're in squares, and the numbers appear in ovals, and those ovals are either red or black, and there is no definitive pattern as to which numbers are red and which are black.

However, here is a rundown on all the numbers on the wheel as they appear in online roulette casinos, according to their color:

Red -- 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 30, 32, 34, 36
Black -- 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29, 31, 33, 35

There are ten odd numbers and eight even numbers that are colored Red. There are ten even numbers and eight odd numbers that are Black.

When you look at the head of that basic grid in online roulette casinos- the one where the three columns are located - are two pentagonal spaces, where zero (0) and double zero (00) are positioned.

You'll place a "column bet" in spaces below each of the columns, naturally. The odds on this bet are 2-to-1, and it even says so inside the box.

Now imagine that you are looking at the table from a length-wise view. You're going to see boxes on the left-hand side of the layout that, in effect, "group" numbers. Those boxes correspond to the numbers that are next to them. For example, you are going to see the box that says "1st 12," which is next to the numbers 1 through 12 in online roulette casinos, and this is where you would place something called a "dozen bet," which means that you will be wagering that one of a group of a dozen numbers will come up on the next spin of the roulette wheel. There are also boxes that say "2nd 12," which corresponds to the numbers 13 to 24, and "3rd 12," which applies to the numbers 25 to 36.

To the left of those boxes are even more boxes, where you can make a bet on other categories. For example, you can bet whether the next number is "Even" or "Odd," whether it is "Low" or "High," or whether it is going to be "Red" or "Black," and obviously those bets should be rather simple for anybody to make in online roulette casinos.

It is imperative to master the layout if you are going to proceed in being a smart, educated player in online roulette casinos.
